Enhance third generation Wiking automobiles
Steps for enhancing “third generation” Wiking automobile sets
Highlight some of the details with Sharpies (fine or ultrafine tip)
Orange for front marker lights
Red for rear marker lights
Silver for parking lights
Stop light red or clear red paint for taillights
Silver paint pen or silver paint for headlights and wheels (a silver Sharpie appears more aluminum while silver paint pens or paints are more reflective.)
Flat black paint for grille
Decal license plates (optional)
Dust with powdered Tempera paints using a dry paint brush (can also tone down the overall shine of the finish)
Black for brake pad (or shoe) dust and tire weathering
Brown for dirt and dust

Challenges
Painting the wheel rims, headlights and taillights. There are recessed outlines around the lights, but no “dam” to prevent the paint from spreading to areas where it is not wanted.
These cars have an interior that could also be detailed as well!
